Letters of Recommendation

Kraig Haberer - Full Recommendation

Dear Hiring Manager:

It is my pleasure to recommend Brian Roloff as a marketing professional. I worked with Brian at Edgenet where he served as the Campaign and Media Director in the marketing team.

Brian is reliable, dedicated, and consistently enthusiastic. He brought a level of pragmatism to his work that both internal and external clients enjoyed. Specifically, he served as the point person and campaign manager for one of our largest clients, a Fortune 50 retailer, which required onboarding several thousand of their vendors onto our platform in a very short period of time. Brian architected the approach, timeline, and vendor engagement strategy and served as the primary liaison for this significant marketing campaign. The customer appreciated his responsiveness and “can-do” attitude throughout the process.

Of particular value to me was Brian’s willingness to challenge the status quo and consistent desire to achieve a better result. He’s a “doer”, not a delegator, so I was always comfortable that the task at hand would be done on time and exceed expectations. Additionally, Brian is technology and content savvy and employs the right tools and right media to engage customers and prospects alike. If I can be of any further assistance, or provide you with any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Kraig Haberer
Former SVP of Marketing, Edgenet

David Wise - Full Recommendation

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am an MBA-trained business manager with more than 25 years of leadership experience in public, private, nonprofit, and professional services environments, so I speak with significant knowledge of what employers seek in new hires. I have known Brian Roloff for about 15 years, during which time I've observed him from a business professional's point of view as well as that of a personal friend. In that capacity, there are three points that I would make to a potential employer about him:

  1. Brian is extraordinarily ethical. He has a deep sense of fairness and responsibility to others. He deals honestly with others and never takes advantage of any opportunity to advance his own interests at the expense of others. He speaks truthfully and with the goal of advancing organizational interests while respecting the positions and priorities of those around him.
  2. Brian is highly, highly personable. I have often described him as "a man who enters a room full of strangers and exits a room full of friends." His charisma is immediately apparent to anyone who meets him, and his emotional intelligence makes him an excellent manager of both projects and people. Don't take my word for it -- simply meet Brian and you'll see exactly what I mean. There's no one quite like him.
  3. Brian is absolutely professional. His dedication to company goals keeps him on the job until it's done, often when everyone else has gone home. He readily recognizes organizational strategies, translates them into tactical goals, and pursues them to completion with unmatchable tenacity.

I would encourage any employer to which he applies to meet and interview Brian. Even if he isn't a perfect match for the position at hand, I believe most employers will wish to consider him for other openings, because Brian is a professional whom most employers very much want on their teams.

Sincerely,

David Wise
